What do you eat in bed in the middle of the night???

William Sonoma peppermint bark??
Apparently this is what happens at the end of a holiday that you just worked 13 of the 15 days...love that it was also on the wall behind her bed...not sure any of the broken off bark made it IN her mouth...love that this is what greeted me Sunday morning when I went to wake her...love that her room all day smelled like peppermint...love that I was smart enough to get this shot for posterity...love that all day Greg and I would just start laughing at random times when thinking about it...
note: subject was not completely happy that I ran to grab my camera...in fact she was grumbling at me, not quite aware or understanding why ...but I am sure she is really happy now that I did...
love you honey

  1. THOUGHTS FROM THE SENIORS---WE LOVE DETAILS AND PHOTOS, SINCE WE GET ZERO PHOTOS IN THE MAIL. AND WE NEED ALOT OF DETAILS, TO EXCITE US IN ANYWAY WE CAN. WELL,OUR DEAR KENDALL, THE JOY OF OUR LIFE, WHO KEEPS ALL HEADED TO OUR GOALS IN LIFE. AND MY GOODNESS, KENYA, WHEN I FIRST LOOKED AT YOUR PHOTO, I THOUGHT YOU HAD FALLEN ON YOUR FACE. BUT, I LOVE PEPPERMINT. TOO BAD YOU DIDN'T GET TO TASTE ANY OF IT. WHAT A TIRED GIRL. WE LOVE OUR GIRLS, THAT INCLUDES MICHELLE. AND THE BOYS, TOO. WELL, WE ARE SPLITTING UP, ONE IS GOING ON A CRUISE AND THE OTHER IS KEEPING THE HOME FIRES BURNING. MOM

  2. That photo alone makes my day! Thanks for a smile (and good to know that I'm not the only one who goes to bed with chocolate evidence on my face).

  4. that is hilarious. you know, there is something inside a mother, that should I or shouldn't I grab my camera. There may be a bit of guilt at first, but then...we're always happy we did.

  5. um...what can I say?...women and their chocolate. at least she can wipe it off just fine. I, on the other hand, always manage to spill it on my white shirt or in between my legs while driving (where it'll melt and look like something else!). what a great picture!

  6. All I can say, Mom, is Thank You for specifying exactly what is on my face and shirt... I swear it's chocolate peppermint bark even though it looks like something else..haha..and even though it probably didn't even make it to my taste buds let alone INSIDE my mouth.

Oh Ya, best part was she not only took a photograph of me...she woke me up and asked me to turn my head towards her to get a better shot. Thanks Mom!
    :D

  8. I am so glad you took that, it is awesome. I know Kenya sleeps so sound. I remember the time she spent the night and fell asleep on the couch. trying to get her up to Chelsea's room was quite the chore.

  10. Hey Mom! Great pictures, keep blogging away! Good Luck, and I hope that this blog will continue to progress and become a great inspiration to those kinds of people that are scared to look at the world of economic crisis and be able to look on the bright side of life and have a jolly good time.

  11. Oh my gosh! That is awesome. I would expect it with a 4 year old, but a grown adult? I'm so sure. (j/k I'm glad she enjoyed it) Jenny E.
